Steve Jobs was the cofounder of Apple Computer in 1976 and eventually left the company in 1985 only to return as CEO again in 1997.
It was Jobs often erratic and tempestuous demeanor that lead to his departure from Apple. But he has since toned down his personality and is a bit more even keeled. However some employees still fear to ride with him on the elevator at the Apple campus.
