The best thing you can do for your online business is to get the word out to your friends, family and of course the entire internet that you have a new business.
Some of the things you can do are:
Pay-per-click advertising
Write lots of good content that your visitors are interested in
Use profitable keywords in your content
Get good incoming links to your site, even if you have to pay for them
Never link to "bad neighborhoods"
Use only original content on your site
