My name is Alan LeStourgeon and that's my wife Jean next to me and we are the owners of this web site.

It has always been a dream of mine, and for many people, to get out of the rat race and work from home. Well, I broke free from the corporate gig in April of 2004 and went to work full time...at home.

You can see my wife Jean and I enjoying the workday in the picture above. We are usually sitting in our office at home in front of our computers or on the phone. However, this day was such a nice day that we decided to take our work down to the park along the river and enjoy the afternoon. That's the beauty of being able to work at home.

I used to be a graphic artist and enjoyed the work...for a while. But life is just too short to spend it working for the man.

Probably the toughest thing about working in the corporate world was attending meetings. Meetings were enough to make me comatose. When those 15 minute meetings started turning into hour long meetings, I knew the end was near.

During meetings I used to position myself so someone was between me and the boss and I could take a nice little nap. Okay, I did find some use for those huge time wasters called meetings.

Now we spend our time working on one of our five (soon to be six) web businesses or my wife's counseling business. We did spend the month of September 2004 fleeing from hurricanes or cleaning up after them, since we live in the east central Florida area. Fleeing from hurricanes however, is not our favorite thing to do.

I used to promote my air purifier MLM business, but not longer do. Why, you ask? Because building web businesses and working on affiliate programs has just been too profitable to do it part time.

Building a business on the web has given us a much more steady income flow without all of the hassles of an mlm business. I'm not anti-mlm, there are some fantastic mlm businesses around, it's just much easier and more profitable building a business on the web. Why make life difficult?
