Work At Home Times #8-- More Frequent Newsletters - I Promise July 26, 2006 |
|
More Frequent Newsletters - I Promise It's been several months since the last issue of the Work At Home Times and I want to apologize for that. While it is a tremendous blessing to be able to work from home, you must be every person in your business. That includes everyone from the janitor to the CEO and everything in between. One role I didn't fill very well was that of the newsletter writer. So, I want to apologize for my lack of diligence in getting this newsletter out to you. You may have noticed many changes at Home Based Business Opportunities And Resources in the last six months and there will continue to be many changes throughout the rest of this year. One of the biggest changes is that I promise you I will get you this newsletter once a month instead of when I get around to it. Another big change is the redesign of the home page at Home Based Business Opportunities And Resources. This was done to move you, the visitor, quickly to the information you would be most interested in. The redesign of the home page was also done to point out that there are really only 3 basic choices you can make when it comes to building a business on the Internet today. They are:
Of course there can be many more variables in each of these categories for your business. Some of these variables would include understanding pay per click advertising, finding affiliate partnerships, implementing and or optimizing Adsense on a site you already have, basic site design, outsourcing your content writing and much more. I will cover many of these topics in the weeks and months to come. Once you make a decision to build a business on the web, your top decision is then going to be, "What am I going to do?" This can be one of the toughest decisions a new internet entrepreneur has to make. It is interesting to note that once you get going and build your first few web sites, the ideas will start coming at you so fast you'll wish you had twice as much time in your day. Believe me, even though you may be stuck now, this will happen, I guarantee it! But for now, what to do? Here's a great web site with 400 examples of successful web businesses from several different categories. It is an incredible idea generator for the new or even seasoned web business person. You will probably find several topics of interest here. That's it for now so, check out that web site I mentioned above and remember, look for the Work At Home Times much more often. To your success, Alan LeStourgeon |
